My client wanted to put her own bold, colourful stamp on her lounge, which had recently been knocked through to the previous dining room. The long, narrow space still felt disconnected and back half needed a use. Helen and Simon loved colonnial style decor, bold colours, plants and wooden accents, but also wanted to make use of her existing furniture, sofas, curtains and rugs.
The design is a playful, striking one, using bold colour to tie in the curtains and sofa and warm wood accents to ground the whole scheme.
