My client had made a good start on creating a boho style bedroom, but had become stuck and needed some design advice. Karens inspirational images showed bright, contemporary boho designs. Initially it was agreed that the existing wall colour and curtains were to be kept, but after some creative exploration it became apparent that this restricted the design to a muddy colour palette leaving the room looking a bit gloomy.
With the permission of my client, I created a design with a brighter wall colour, used neutral blinds instead of the curtains, to demonstrate how it would allow more natural light in, free up space and would allow more freedom in the colour palette to help make the room feel more dynamic.
